Marcus Jones

Marcus joined Premier back in 2008 – fresh faced and straight out of Nottingham Trent University, where he studied Broadcast Journalism.

During his time on the news desk he’s interviewed a host of high profile names from London Mayor Boris Johnson to heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury.

His main attribute to Premier Christian Radio is teaching the news team the correct pronunciations of Welsh towns and villages such as Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.

If he’s not in the office, Marcus can be found playing a variety of sports, socially and competitively, whether it be finishing Olympic distance triathlons or turning out for his local church football team.

When not playing sport he’s in stadiums and arenas across the country as a spectator – normally wearing the red of Wales.

Marcus is not the MP for Nuneaton, has never played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers American Football team and has no interest in mixed martial arts.
