Last week THINK theology (which has its roots in the Newfrontiers movement of churches) held a conference in London titled 'The future of complementarity'. While egalitarians believe all areas of church leadership should be open to men and women, complementarians have traditionally taught the Bible prohibits women from preaching and/or leading churches. But speaking earlier this year, conference organiser Andrew Wilson told Premier Christianity the debate is "often-misunderstood". Writing as the conference finished, Jennie Pollock, Steve & Claire Musters and Natalie Collins give their views on what was discussed.
