A great American expression appropriately sums up this Atlantabased worship leader – Aaron Keyes seems to be ‘the real deal’. His journey is not all about himself and his music, but reveals a heart for authentic worship and for training others ‘who aren’t satisfied with a slick production and a tight band, but are after something more weighty and transcendent.’

His debut release with Kingsway is a balanced mix of lively and mellow, bursting with memorable melodies, and tastefully produced. Keyes has a vocal quality that’s easy to listen to, a natural ability to sing assorted tempos, and a true God-focused heart. Highlights include ‘Never Cease to Amaze Me’ and the more meditative title track which features a good dynamic build. His various co-writes have delivered a modern-hymnal classic with Stuart Townend called ‘Psalm 62’, and his ability to sing a story with depth and emotion is revealed in the closing ‘Not What My Hands’.
