clean-good-main

Clean for Good is billed as a practical way to help low-paid workers. The idea was birthed by the parish of St Andrew by the Wardrobe three years ago and later won a Dragons’ Den-style competition at Greenbelt Festival.

The new company has committed to providing its employees with paid leave, guaranteed working hours, training and personal development opportunities. Catherine Pearson, Clean for Good’s business manager told Premier Christianity: “We’re totally motivated by what we believe in, in terms of justice, loving one another, how we should treat one another fairly and how you should reward people a fair wage for a fair day’s work.” The company is working in partnership with the Centre for Theology & Community and other investors including the Church Mission Society.
