Scottish churches debate independence referendum

Scotland will go to the polls in September in a hotly contested referendum, and while Scottish churches have appeared neutral in their public announcements, they have certainly engaged in the debate. Key to the concerns of Christians on both sides has been the desire to establish a fairer and godlier society.
