Elaine Storkey

Elaine Storkey is a philosopher, sociologist and theologian who has been called the UK’s leading Christian feminist. She has held posts at the Open University, King’s College, London, and the University of Oxford. She was formerly president of Tearfund, and has since been involved in monitoring aid, relief and advocacy work in countries of the Global South. Her books include Scars Across Humanity: Understanding and overcoming violence against women and Meeting God in Matthew (SPCK)
