This is a difficult one. I will pray for her but let’s look at the base facts. It makes no difference to me that she is a woman for leadership but she has the appearance of another jobsworth in the role. A truly radical appointment would have been someone from the Bible believing South of the Anglican communion, not another one promoting heresy as a means of maintaining the CofE’s membership of privilege. Until the CofE leadership makes itself distinct from the World by following the full, if challenging, truths in the Bible, it will continue to decline at it’s core, along with the nation it represents.
