David Moyes was appointed as the new manager of Manchester United after the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson.According to The Independent newspaper, Moyes has ‘deep-seated Christian beliefs, an aspect of his personality he tends not to discuss’
The paper said Moyes was one of a trio of active Christians in the 1984-85 Cambridge United team, the others being Alan Comfort and Graham Daniels.
Comfort later became a vicar, and Daniels is general director of Christians in Sport.
