The first in the UK of its kind, the website ClicktoKick.com, presents people with the option to join an online recovery group.
Founder of the Naked Truth Project, Ian Henderson, said, ‘Click to Kick is primarily aimed at people with a moderate porn habit, who want to quit.’ Using conferencing software, a Click to Kick group member can log in, and participate in an eight-week online discussion group, led by a trained facilitator.
‘This isn’t a silver bullet, but we want these groups to kick-start people’s road to freedom,’ said Henderson.
‘The materials have been developed by our head of recovery, Paula Hall, a psychotherapist and leading expert in porn addiction.’
