I remember reading Fresh a few years ago and thinking, ‘Finally, a biblical, accessible resource for students.’ If Fresh was good, Final is excellent. There are far more questions about how to transition between university and working life than there are differences between school and university. Krish Kandiah enables final-year students to prepare for the future through five pithy and incisive weekly studies. These are thoroughly biblical, but the application is relevant and perceptive. He deals with areas such as vocation, interviews and coping with pressure; there is something for everyone.

What I love about Final is that it is focused enough to be helpful, but not so much as to be prescriptive. At last, here is someone intelligently encouraging our graduates to be lights for Christ in the world. This is relevant and focused material on the real issues that matter. It is not prescriptive but enabling of mission, and treating students with the maturity they deserve.
