Pope Francis bobble head among novelty items for sale during Ireland visit

As Dublin gears up for the pope's visit, a number of novelty times have gone on sale to celebrate the occasion.

A Pope Francis bobble head figure which The Balla Ban Gallery in Dublin is giving away free with every artwork.



The visit, scheduled for August, will be the first papal visit to Ireland since 1979.

Souvenir "Lollipopes" on sale in Dublin as Ireland prepares to welcome Pope Francis next month.



Pope-themed caricature drawings, alarm clocks, lollipops and bobble heads are among the memorabilia people can purchase to remember the visit.

Pope Francis novelty alarm clocks on sale in Dublin.


The 81-year-old Pontiff will take part in the Festival of Families, a faith-based cultural concert, in Croke Park on 25th August.

He will also celebrate Mass in the Phoenix Park on 26th August.
